How do You Treat Your Body Like a Friend or Foe?

If you only love, respect, and work with its one-of-a-kind intrinsic functions, this amazing servant of YOU, this incredible machine that science has not yet been able to copy will be your respectful servant for life.

Just for a second, give some thought to all the miraculous things that happen inside of your body that you are completely unaware of.

At a state of perfect health, every organ, every nerve, every cell, every part of this intricate and effective instrument... functions in perfect unison with one another, much like a perfect harmony. This is what we mean when we say that the instrument is in perfect harmony.

Some people behave toward their bodies as if it were their deadliest foe rather than their closest companion.

Yet there are those people who even take better care of their automobiles and other material goods than they do of their own bodies.

It's fascinating to think that most people will spend their whole lives within their bodies yet will never have a complete understanding of how those bodies should function.

They frequently place a greater value on understanding what makes their automobile run better, as well as what makes their computers and cell phones run faster, as opposed to attempting to understand the TRUE and significant value of how the functions of their own body work and how they can be improved.

You eat, breathe, sleep, exercise, and love, and the wisdom that is contained inside your body takes care of it for you, much like an autopilot that turns ALL of these things into what is necessary for a body to function properly.

Pay attention to your physical signals; it's time to get up and start moving.

Your physical self is not an adversary of yours but rather a friend and ally; it is a gift from mother nature to you.

Thus, you should learn not to fight against it but rather to work with it, and you should stop treating your body as if it were a junk drawer by stuffing junk food, harmful ideas, and unpleasant emotions into it.

Learn to pay attention and provide it with what it needs. Eat well, think and feel well, get adequate rest, give it proper exercise, and most importantly, love your body and become its closest friend, and it will pay you back in high dividends down the line.

Simply put, if you are in harmony with your body, you will be in harmony with nature itself, and since your body is a part of nature, you will be in harmony with existence itself.

With each breath you take, you take in all the atoms that have ever existed in each and every individual before you, and that will continue after you.

If you spend your life cultivating affection for YOUR body, you will find that you are in tune with everything that is happening right now.
